Janelle Monae was amazing!

One of the best voices I've heard in a long time! This is coming from someone whose iPod consists largely of older bands, lots of rock, folk, and indie. Her album, The ArchAndroid, has become my favorite album. Might seem like it cost a lot to see an opening act for 30 minutes, but she is one of the greatest performers of all time. I had actually purchased the tickets for Janelle Monae and was not disappointed. I had never heard Dimmu Borgir's music before, but now I'm a fan. She covers all genres of music with no effort, and her performance at the Verizon theater did not disappoint. She performed with such talent and amazing energy. The venue itself was the best I've been to. It was never hot or crowded, this place was built for large events. Sound was fantastic. There is a good view of the stage from every seat, even the ones up above. This was a great event!
